Mom's pizza

Making your own pizza? Absolutely! Bake your own authentic Italian pizza with our Pizza Flour and top it with Salsa della Mamma, mozzarella, ham, olives, artichokes, and mushrooms. Perfect for a cozy Italian evening! 

Ingredients

1 tsp Salt
1 1/4 cups Lukewarm water
3 Artichoke hearts
12 Mushrooms
1 3/4 cups Mozzarella
12 Olives

Preparation

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the water and mix it with the pizza flour and salt. Add the Bonsecco extra virgin olive oil and knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms. Let the dough rise for 90 minutes in a warm place, covered with a damp tea towel.
  2. Preheat the oven to 225°C (425°F). Halve the artichoke hearts and slice the mushrooms.
  3. Roll out the risen dough into a thin sheet and place it on a baking sheet. Spread a thin layer of Salsa della Mamma on the base and sprinkle with mozzarella and Pizza Herb Mix. Then arrange the artichokes, mushrooms, cooked ham, and olives over the pizza.
  4. Bake the pizza in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes, until the base is golden brown and crispy.
  5. Tip: Finally, sprinkle the warm pizza with Pizzolio for extra flavour.
