Potato Gratin

Potato gratin is a true classic from French cuisine and a perfect side dish for the holidays. The preparation is simple and then the oven does the work for you. In this recipe, the potato gratin is refined with our Pecorino cheese truffle powder for an extra dimension of flavor.

Ingredients

600 gr Slightly floury potatoes
200ml Cream
100 ml Whole milk
100 gr Grated pecorino cheese

Preparation

  1. Place a pan of water on the stove. Preheat the oven to 390 degrees. Cut the potatoes into thin slices. Add to the boiling water and drain as soon as the slices are al dente.
  2. Grease an oven dish with olive oil and divide the potato slices over the dish.
  3. Put the whipped cream, milk, Aged Cheese Tapenade, pecorino cheese, Pecorino cheese truffle powder and salt to taste in a bowl. Stir well with a whisk and pour the mixture over the potatoes. Make sure the slices are just under the whipped cream mixture.
  4. Divide the grated cheese over the potatoes and place the baking dish in the oven. Bake the potato gratin for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
  5. Enjoy your meal!
