Ultimate Smoky Hamburger

Who doesn’t love a perfectly grilled, juicy hamburger? This recipe takes the classic burger to the next level with our Smokey BBQ Mix blended into the beef and a generous layer of Ultimate Burger Sauce. Add crispy bacon, caramelized onions, fresh toppings, and toasty buns — and you’ve got a burger worth savoring every bite.

Perfect for summer cookouts, backyard BBQs, or a next-level burger night at home!

Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef
10 slices bacon
5 hamburger buns
2 onions, sliced into half-moons
2 egg yolks
iceberg lettuce, shredded
2 tomatoes, sliced
15 slices pickle (3 per burger)
salt, to taste
butter, for sautéing

Preparation

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
  2. Slice the onions into half-moons and sauté in a little butter over low heat until soft and golden.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg yolks, and 1 tbsp of Smokey BBQ Mix. Season lightly with salt and mix until just combined. Form into 5 equal patties.
  4. Slice the hamburger buns in half and lightly drizzle the cut sides with Baking & Roasting Olive Oil. Toast them briefly on the grill or in a hot pan until golden.
  5. Grill the burgers over medium-high heat until browned on the outside and juicy on the inside (about 4–5 minutes per side for medium).
  6. Assemble your burgers: Spread Ultimate Burger Sauce on the bottom bun, then layer on iceberg lettuce, tomato slices, the grilled burger patty, extra sauce, crispy bacon, caramelized onions, and pickle slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
