Braised Brussels sprouts

A delicious winter side dish that’s perfect for the holidays: braised Brussels sprouts! These little cabbages are gently braised in our Winter Balsamic Vinegar, giving them a delicious sweet and sour flavour that’s the perfect addition to any festive meal.

Ingredients

250ml Chopped chili peppers
1 red onion
350 gr Brussels sprouts
Baking & Roasting Olive Oil in Can - 1L

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the red onion. Clean the sprouts and halve them. Put some baking & roasting olive oil in a pan and add the sprouts and red onion. Fry them briefly.
  2. Add 100 ml water and 25 ml Winter balsamic vinegar and put the lid on the pan. Stew the sprouts for 15-20 minutes on low heat until al dente. Stir regularly. Remove the lid from the pan for the last 6 minutes.
  3. Before serving, add 25 ml Winter Balsamic Vinegar, 25 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Garlic and season with some salt and Chopped chili peppers.
  4. Enjoy!
