Creamy Sweet Pepper-Ricotta Spread

A creamy, fresh, spicy spread with parsley and olive oil. The perfect match with our deliciously crunchy Fornelli crackers.

Ingredients

2 pointy sweet peppers
3 \u00bd oz. ricotta
1 tbsp. smoked paprika
1 \u00bd tbsp. Condiment Turmeric & Pepper
1 \u00bd tbsp. Chili Pepper Olive Oil
2 springs of parsley
Fornelli Classici Crackers
pepper
sea salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and roast the sweet peppers until the skin begins to change color. Allow the sweet peppers to cool on a covered dish (you can also put them in the refrigerator).
  2. Now chop the parsley as finely as possible. Mix the ricotta with the smoked paprika, olive oil and chopped parsley. Season the cheese mixture with a bit of salt and pepper.
  3. Remove the roasted sweet peppers from the refrigerator and remove the seed, skin and stems. Chop into small pieces and mix with the Condiment Turmeric & Pepper.
  4. Scoop the ricotta spread into a small bowl and top with the sweet pepper marinade. Serve with the Fornelli, and you've just created a delicious snack.
