Romeo & Juliet Heart Pasta

Make Valentine's Day extra special with heart-shaped pasta made in Italy with love! Super simple to make, but utterly delicious!

Ingredients

1 bag Pasta di Cuori
Romeo & Juliet
12 Sprigs Asparagus
1 cup Cherry Tomatoes (or Grape)
Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Bring water in a pot to a boil and cook the Pasta di Cuori according to the directions on the packaging.
  2. In a separate pot, bring heavily salted water to a boil. Blanch the cleaned and trimmed asparagus 3-4 minutes until the asparagus is bright green and crisp-tender.
  3. Halve the tomatoes, cut the asparagus into bite-sized pieces and mix into the cooked pasta.
  4. Drizzle the pasta with the balsamic and extra virgin olive oil to taste. Finish with salt and pepper and enjoy!
