This Dried Fig and Orange Spread is made from Dalmatia figs. These are hand-picked and carefully selected. When growing the figs, Dalmatian farmers around the Adriatic Sea in Croatia use authentic cultivation methods, without using pesticides or intensively working the soil. The figs are then dried naturally. This is done in the sun on wooden platforms. This drying process takes an average of ten days, which gives the figs their rich taste, but at the same time does not lose their natural nutrients.
