For the Wild Thyme honey, the bees collect nectar from different types of thyme plants that grow in Crete. This and the special climate conditions on Crete give this honey its very special taste. A fragrant and intense aroma with an amber color and a bold, lingering flavor.

The taste of honey is best enjoyed with soft and mild cheeses, such as goat's cheese, sheep's cheese and brie. A little bit is enough. The honey also goes well with ripened cheeses, such as camembert (tip: heated in the oven), blue cheese or pecorino. Or try in combination with matured meat (dry-aged) or over smoked salmon. And of course, honey is also delicious in yogurt or cottage cheese, over ice cream, fruit, on croissants, toast, with crêpes or waffles, for cakes and pastries.
