Lime Marinated Salmon

Grilled salmon with lime grapeseed oil with garlic. It's simple, savory, and smoky!

Ingredients

1 lb Salmon fillet
2 Garlic cloves (finely grated or minced)
1/2 tsp Salt
To taste Fresh cracked black pepper
Optional Red pepper flakes
Optional Chopped cilantro
Optional Green onion

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, whisk together: lime grapeseed oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper (Optional: red pepper flakes, chopped cilantro, or green onion)
  2. Pat the salmon dry, then coat it in the marinade. Let it sit 15–25 minutes.
  3. Heat grill to medium-high (400–450°F).
  4. Place salmon skin-side down on the grill. Close the lid and cook for 5-6 minutes without moving it.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.
  6. Finish + serve: Remove from grill and rest for 2 minutes. Top with optional cilantro, green onion, or a tiny drizzle of extra lime grapeseed oil for shine.
