- Dissolve the yeast in the water and mix this into the pizza flour with the salt. Add olive oil and knead into a dough. Allow to rise under a damp dish towel for 90 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Place a pizza stone on the bottom rack if using one so it can heat up as you prepare the pizza.
- Spread the Fig Spread over the dough, top with cheese, walnuts, and fresh ground pepper.
- Bake for 6-10 minutes on the pizza stone or sheet pan until bubbling hot and crust is crispy.
