Smoky Garlic Queso

This Tex-Mex dip was inspired by the Mexican dip, Chile con queso. This adaptation is simpler and so easy to make. It’s also a wonderful dip that you can get creative with. We love to add a little wow with our Smoky Garlic Grapeseed Oil!

Ingredients

1 block (2-pound) American cheese, such as Velveeta (in 1 inch cubes)
1 can (10-ounce) Diced tomatoes with chiles, preferably Ro-tel brand
2\/3 cup Water
3\/4 cup Thinly sliced scallions (about 7 scallions)
1 cup Rinsed canned black beans
1\/3 cup Chopped cilantro
1\/2 tbsp Red pepper flakes
1\/4 tsp Fresh lime zest, plus 2 teaspoons juice
2 tbsp Smoky Garlic Grapeseed Oil
Tortilla chips, for serving
